XRT Diamond Tools at Xiamen Stone Fair 2026: 25 Years of Stone Cutting Experience

From March 16 to 19, 2026, the 26th China Xiamen International Stone Fair was held at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center.

Under the theme “KEEP PASSION,” the 2026 edition covered approximately 191,000 square meters, with 24 exhibition halls divided into eight major exhibition areas, bringing together professionals from across the global stone industry.

XRT Diamond Tools once again joined the exhibition to meet stone processors, diamond tool distributors, machinery companies and industry partners from different countries and regions.

For XRT, 2026 also represents an important milestone.

From entering the diamond tool industry in 2001 to 2026, we have now spent 25 years working with stone cutting tools.

Twenty-five years may sound like a long time.

But if someone asks us:

“Have you learned everything about diamond tools?”

Our answer is still:

There is always more to learn.

Stones change.

Machines improve.

And customers continue raising their expectations for cutting speed, tool life, processing quality and overall production cost.

From a Diamond Segment to a Complete Cutting Problem

A diamond segment may look like only a small component welded around the edge of a saw blade.

For a stone processing factory, however, that small component can directly influence:

  • Cutting speed

  • Tool life

  • Blade stability

  • Slab quality

  • Machine load

  • Power consumption

  • Downtime

  • Cost per square meter

  • Overall production efficiency

This is why our conversations with customers increasingly begin with more than:

“What segment size do you need?”

We want to know:

“What stone are you cutting?”

“What machine are you using?”

“What problem are you currently facing?”

A dimension tells us what the product looks like.

The application tells us what the product actually needs to do.

Familiar Products, A More Application-Oriented Approach

At Xiamen Stone Fair 2026, XRT continued to present and discuss our core professional stone cutting products.

Diamond Segments

Solutions for granite, marble, sandstone, limestone, gabbro and other natural stones.

Diamond concentration, grit and metal bond systems can be adjusted according to stone characteristics, machine conditions and customer priorities.

Diamond Saw Blades

Solutions for bridge saws, single-blade machines, multi-blade systems and other stone processing applications.

Different blade diameters and cutting applications require different combinations of steel core stability, segment structure and diamond formulation.

Multi-Blade and Multi-Disc Segments

For high-volume stone processing, customers care about more than individual segment life.

Continuous cutting stability, consistent wear, machine load and overall production efficiency are equally important.

Diamond Wire Saws

Solutions for quarrying, block shaping and other natural stone cutting applications.

Customized Diamond Tools

Products developed and adjusted according to different markets, stones, machines and production objectives.

By 2026, however, we hope customers remember more than:

“XRT sells diamond segments and saw blades.”

We hope they remember:

“When we have a stone cutting problem, we can discuss it with XRT.”

“Good Quality” Means Different Things in Different Markets

After working with customers from many countries, we have learned something interesting.

Almost everyone asks for “high quality.”

But their definitions of high quality can be completely different.

One customer says:

“I need faster cutting.”

Another says:

“Speed is not my priority. I need longer lifetime.”

Someone else says:

“My machine load must remain low.”

A customer processing expensive decorative stone may say:

“I cannot accept edge chipping.”

A large factory may focus primarily on:

“Every batch needs to perform consistently.”

This is why we continue to believe:

There is no universally best diamond segment without considering the application.

The right tool is the one that properly matches the stone, machine and production target.

A Stone Photo Is No Longer Enough

Years ago, many international inquiries were simple:

Specification.

Quantity.

Price.

Today, professional customers increasingly provide much more information.

They send:

  • Stone photographs

  • Cutting videos

  • Machine photographs

  • Blade RPM

  • Cutting depth

  • Feed speed

  • Machine current

  • Photos of used segments

  • Current tool life

  • Daily production data

Some customers even record the complete performance of a segment set from installation until the end of its working life.

For a diamond tool manufacturer, this information is extremely valuable.

Product development should not rely only on assumptions.

The better the data, the better the diagnosis.

Sometimes a one-minute cutting video provides more useful technical information than a long inquiry document.

The Most Valuable Part of an Exhibition Is Not Always the Inquiry

Of course, an international exhibition generates inquiries.

Visitors ask about prices.

They collect catalogs.

Some request samples.

But after many years of attending exhibitions, we increasingly believe that the most valuable moments are often the deeper technical conversations.

A customer takes out a phone:

“Can you look at this cutting video?”

Several people gather around the screen.

Is the segment wearing normally?

Why is the machine making this sound?

Is the feed speed too high?

Should the bond be softer?

Could blade vibration be part of the problem?

A normal business conversation suddenly becomes a small technical meeting.

For the XRT team, these moments are often the most enjoyable part of an exhibition.

Because we are no longer discussing catalog specifications.

We are discussing a real machine cutting a real stone.

After 25 Years, We Respect Experience Even More

XRT entered the diamond tool industry in 2001.

By 2026, that journey has reached 25 years.

During this period, machinery has changed.

Production equipment has improved.

Raw materials have evolved.

Markets have changed.

Even the way products are sold has changed dramatically.

But one thing remains difficult to build quickly:

Experience.

Why does one granite need a sharper formulation?

Why does another stone with similar hardness consume segments much faster?

Why does a formulation that worked well suddenly behave differently after the customer changes machines?

Why can a longer-life segment sometimes result in a higher overall processing cost?

There is rarely one simple formula.

Answers often come from:

Production.

Testing.

Failure.

Customer feedback.

Adjustment.

And another test.

Repeated year after year, these small pieces of experience gradually become one of the most important assets of a professional diamond tool manufacturer.

XRT Culture: A Problem Is Not Always a Bad Thing

Industrial products do not receive only positive feedback.

Sometimes customers say:

“The segment is not sharp enough.”

“This batch is less stable than the previous one.”

“It does not perform well on this stone.”

“The machine current is higher.”

Years ago, product complaints might simply feel like problems.

With more industry experience, we now see them differently.

When a customer is willing to share a problem with you, it is also a sign of trust.

They still believe there may be a solution.

Our preferred approach is therefore simple:

Do not rush to explain.

Look at the stone.

Look at the machine.

Review the data.

Study segment wear.

Watch the cutting video.

Then identify the real cause.

Sometimes the formulation needs adjustment.

Sometimes welding is involved.

Sometimes the steel core matters.

Sometimes machine parameters or the stone itself are responsible.

Finding the real cause is more valuable than proving who is right.

Sometimes We Learn More From Customers Than From the Products We Display

Xiamen International Stone Fair also provides another important opportunity.

Within only a few days, we can hear what is happening in stone markets around the world.

Customers tell us:

Which stones are becoming popular.

Which blade sizes are selling.

How machines are changing.

What factories care about today.

How market prices are changing.

Which products were popular before but are now declining.

For a manufacturing company, this information is extremely important.

If a factory only looks inward, it can easily think:

“Customers should buy what we produce.”

Real markets work in the opposite direction.

Customers change, and manufacturers need to adapt.

Why Attend a Stone Exhibition in the Age of Google and AI?

By 2026, finding a supplier has never been easier.

Google.

Facebook.

LinkedIn.

TikTok.

B2B platforms.

And increasingly, AI search.

A buyer can find dozens of diamond tool manufacturers within minutes.

So why does XRT still participate in international stone exhibitions?

Because:

Information is becoming easier to find, but trust still needs to be built.

A website can explain what we manufacture.

A video can show our factory.

AI can help compare suppliers.

But a face-to-face conversation helps answer deeper questions:

Does this team really understand stone?

Will they listen when a customer has a problem?

How do they handle after-sales issues?

Do they have real long-term application experience?

Could this supplier remain a partner for five or ten years?

This is one of the reasons XRT continues to attend Xiamen International Stone Fair.

We Want to Be a Diamond Tool Supplier That Understands Stone

The diamond tool industry is highly competitive.

Simply saying:

“Our quality is very good.”

is no longer enough.

Almost every supplier says the same thing.

XRT wants to build another type of capability:

Understanding the application.

Understanding why the customer needs the tool.

Understanding why the segment wears in a particular pattern.

Understanding why different granites require different bonds.

Knowing when sharpness should be prioritized.

Knowing when additional wear resistance is necessary.

And knowing when an apparent tool problem may actually come from the machine.

Our goal is to become more than a product supplier.

We want to become:

A diamond tool partner that truly understands stone processing.

Different Markets Need Different Solutions

Our international experience has made one direction increasingly clear.

Russian customers may work extensively with hard granite and gabbro.

Indian factories have their own machines and processing practices.

Parts of Southeast Asia process highly abrasive sandstone, andesite and related materials.

The Middle East has extensive marble, limestone and natural stone applications.

Some European processors place greater emphasis on precision cutting, stability and edge quality.

These markets should not all be approached with exactly the same product logic.

XRT continues to accumulate:

Market + Stone + Machine + Parameters + Test Results

The goal is to move from:

“We manufacture this product.”

toward:

“We have relevant experience with your market and your stone.”

2026 Is Not the Finish Line

Twenty-five years is an important milestone for a manufacturing company.

For XRT, however, it feels more like the beginning of another stage.

Customers will continue expecting more from diamond tools:

Faster cutting.

Greater stability.

Lower processing cost.

More accurate customization.

Faster technical response.

That means we still need to keep testing, keep learning and keep entering different markets.

We sincerely thank every customer, distributor and industry friend who met XRT Diamond Tools during Xiamen Stone Fair 2026 and shared information about stones, machines, markets and cutting applications.

Some were meeting us for the first time.

Others have known us for many years.

But somehow, every conversation can still begin with one piece of stone.

Perhaps that is one of the most interesting things about this industry.

The exhibition ends, but the stone keeps cutting.

The testing continues.

And so does our learning.
