From March 16 to 19, 2025, the 25th China Xiamen International Stone Fair was held at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center.
XRT Diamond Tools once again joined this important gathering of the global stone industry, meeting stone processors, tool distributors, machinery companies and industry partners from different countries and regions.
After years of participating in professional stone exhibitions, our understanding of exhibitions has gradually changed.
In the past, the first question was often:
“What products do we manufacture?”
Today, we prefer to begin with:
“What stone are you cutting?”
“What machine are you using?”
“What is the biggest problem in your current cutting process?”
Because in the diamond tool industry, the product itself is only the beginning.
Its real value comes from solving an actual stone processing problem.
During Xiamen Stone Fair 2025, XRT communicated with customers about a wide range of stone cutting applications, including:
Diamond segments for granite
Diamond segments for marble
Granite single-blade saw segments
Multi-blade and multi-disc segments
Diamond saw blades
Diamond wire saws
Sandstone and limestone cutting tools
Diamond tools for quartzite and other hard stones
Customized diamond formulations based on stone and machine conditions
Increasingly, customers arriving at our booth were not simply asking about dimensions and prices.
Some showed cutting videos on their phones.
Some shared machine operating conditions.
Others showed photographs of worn diamond segments.
Sometimes a customer simply put a stone photo on the table and asked:
“This stone is extremely hard. What would you recommend?”
For us, this is where the most valuable conversation begins.
The more international markets we work with, the more clearly we see how unique the diamond tool industry is.
Customers in different markets may face completely different problems.
For extremely hard granite or gabbro, the priority may be:
Sharpness.
For highly abrasive materials, customers may care more about:
Segment consumption and tool life.
Large stone factories may focus on:
Stable continuous production and reasonable machine load.
For expensive decorative stones and precision applications, the priority may be:
Cutting quality and reduced edge chipping.
This is why XRT believes there is no universal “best diamond segment.”
There is only a tool that is better matched to the actual application.
After many years of attending stone exhibitions, we have noticed something interesting.
Customers from different countries often say almost the same thing:
“The tool I am using now is okay, but…”
The word after “but” is usually where the opportunity begins.
“But it cuts a little slowly.”
“But the lifetime is inconsistent.”
“But it performs badly when we change stone.”
“But the machine load is too high.”
“But the cost keeps increasing.”
At XRT, these “buts” are valuable.
They show us where a product or application may still be improved.

Traditional international business often begins with an inquiry:
Size.
Quantity.
Price.
But for professional diamond tools, we increasingly encourage customers to share more actual application information, such as:
Stone name and origin
Stone photographs
Cutting videos
Blade diameter
Segment dimensions
Machine model
Spindle power
RPM
Cutting depth
Feed speed
Current segment life
Current cutting problems
Sometimes a one-minute cutting video can tell a technical team more than ten emails.
Modern communication has changed the traditional stone tool business.
The customer may be thousands of kilometers away from our factory in China, but a video, photo or real-time conversation allows us to better understand what is happening on the machine.
For a diamond tool manufacturer, understanding production alone is not enough.
Understanding sales alone is not enough either.
A successful stone cutting solution requires both sides to work together.
The market team needs to bring accurate application information back to the factory.
The technical team then needs to understand what the customer really means.
When a customer says a segment is “not sharp enough,” what exactly is happening?
When the customer says “lifetime is too short,” what is the actual cutting data?
When a blade vibrates, is the reason the diamond segment, the steel core, the machine or the operating parameters?
Only after these questions are understood can product adjustment become meaningful.
At XRT, we increasingly value a simple working cycle:
The market discovers the problem.
The technical team analyzes it.
Production implements the adjustment.
The customer tests it again.
Then the cycle continues.
One of the enjoyable things about the stone industry is that even customers who have worked together for many years can spend a long time discussing one particular stone.
“How is the market recently?”
“Is the quarry producing the same material?”
“Did you change your machine?”
“How did the segment we tested last year perform?”
Before long, a business meeting becomes a conversation about stone, machines, tools, markets and everyday life.
This is also one of the human sides of the stone industry.
Some customers first arrived at our booth as strangers looking for a supplier.
Years later, meeting again feels more like seeing an old friend.
For XRT, international business is not simply about shipping boxes of tools from China to another country.
Long-term cooperation is ultimately built on trust between people.
Today, finding suppliers online is easier than ever.
Customers can discover diamond tool manufacturers through Google, social media, B2B platforms and AI search.
So why do professional exhibitions still matter?
Because industrial products still require trust.
A website can introduce products.
A video can show a factory.
A technical sheet can explain specifications.
But a face-to-face meeting helps customers understand something deeper:
Who is behind the company?
Does the team really understand stone?
How does the company respond when a product problem occurs?
Can this supplier become a long-term partner?
That is one of the reasons XRT continues to participate in Xiamen International Stone Fair.
We want customers to see not only the products.
We want them to meet the people behind them.
XRT has been involved in the diamond tool industry since 2001.
Over more than two decades, production equipment has improved.
Stone processing machines have become more advanced.
International logistics have changed.
The way customers discover suppliers has changed.
Even the way people communicate has changed dramatically.
But some fundamental questions remain the same.
Is the diamond segment sharp enough?
Is the saw blade stable?
Does the tool achieve the expected lifetime?
When something goes wrong, will the supplier take the problem seriously?
These are still the questions that matter.
So no matter how the market changes, XRT wants to continue focusing on a few simple things:
Make the product seriously.
Listen to customer feedback carefully.
Solve problems responsibly.
Build business for the long term.
One of the strengths of Xiamen International Stone Fair is the opportunity to meet stone professionals from very different markets within only a few days.
Some process granite.
Some cut marble.
Some work with sandstone and limestone.
Some distribute diamond tools.
Some operate quarries.
Others are building new stone processing factories.
Every market brings different questions.
And every question adds to XRT's understanding of global stone processing.
We believe a truly international diamond tool manufacturer should not simply sell the same product to every country.
It should:
Understand the local stone first, and then provide a better-matched tool.
For many customers, meeting at the exhibition is only the first step.
Next comes:
Confirming specifications.
Preparing samples.
Arranging shipment.
Installing the tools.
Recording cutting data.
Sharing feedback.
Adjusting the formulation.
This is where diamond tool cooperation truly becomes interesting.
Because ultimately, a tool is not judged by what is written in a catalog or said at an exhibition booth.
It is judged by what happens when the machine starts cutting.
We sincerely thank every customer, distributor and industry friend who met XRT Diamond Tools during Xiamen Stone Fair 2025 and shared market information, stone applications and real processing challenges with our team.
The exhibition may have ended.
But many new tests and partnerships were only beginning.
We look forward to meeting again.
And we always look forward to the next cutting video.
